D.J. LOGISTICS now offers a complete “Door to Air” service, which covers the organization and execution of every step in the air freight chain – from pick-up at the supplier’s address to sending the goods by air to the end user.
Our service includes:
Collection of goods from the supplier’s address (Pick-up organization) – We organize transport and collection of the shipment directly from the agreed location. The shipment is delivered to our address: Kapetana Koče Anđelkovića 4, Lapovo, where it is prepared for onward shipping and air transport.
- Coordination of appointments with the supplier
- Verification of the quantity, weight and dimensions of the goods at the loading point
- Review of commercial documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List)
- Arrangement of a suitable vehicle according to the type of goods (standard, ADR, temperature-controlled if required)
Preparation and packaging for air transport – We professionally carry out proper packaging of goods in accordance with air cargo standards, including correct labeling, protection and preparation of the accompanying documentation.
Air transport involves strict criteria regarding weight, dimensions and method of packaging, which is why we pay special attention to optimizing packaging so that the goods are adequately protected, properly declared and ready for transport.
- Verification of compliance with IATA standards
- Dimensioning and optimization of volumetric weight (chargeable weight)
- Professional packing (cardboard packaging, wooden crates, palletizing, stretch film and strapping bands)
- Preparation or checking of labels: handling labels, fragile, “This side up”, dangerous goods (DGR) if applicable
- Physical protection of goods against vibration, pressure and temperature changes
- Consolidation of shipments if groupage transport is planned
Customs clearance of goods – We carry out the complete customs procedure and the preparation and submission of documentation, communicating efficiently with the relevant institutions so that the process is fast and free of delays.

Transport to the airport – We organize safe and timely land transport of goods to the departure airport.

- Handover of goods to the cargo terminal
- Issuing the Air Waybill (AWB)

Air shipment to the final destination – We carry out air transport to the agreed international airport, tracking the shipment and keeping the client regularly informed about the transport status.
